Dr. Kathryn Moss studies inherited peripheral neuropathies with the aim of accelerating therapeutic discovery by advancing knowledge of disease pathophysiology and identifying pathomechanisms. She is currently focused on Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease, specifically CMT Type 1A (CMT1A) and Hereditary Neuropathy with Liability to Pressure Palsies (HNPP), which account for more than half of all genetically defined CMT cases.
