The lab of Dr. Chris Lorson is focused on the molecular genetics and therapeutic development opportunities for neurodegenerative diseases, in particular spinal muscular atrophy (SMA), SMA with respiratory distress type I (SMARD1), and Charcot-Marie-Tooth (CMT).
