Degree-Seeking Applicants
Eligibility
Applicants seeking admission to the INP graduate program must meet MU Graduate School’s minimum admission requirements for applicants. Most students admitted to the program have earned a bachelor’s or graduate degree in a STEM field (e.g., biochemistry, engineering, biological sciences, computer science, mathematics, chemistry, neurobiology, psychology). We do not require completion of an MS to enter the PhD program. Interested individuals are strongly encouraged to contact potential faculty mentors before applying.
Financial Support
The Interdisciplinary Neuroscience Program is committed to supporting its graduate students and makes every effort to ensure that students who remain in good academic standing receive full support, including a competitive stipend, tuition support, and medical insurance throughout their tenure in the program. Support mainly comes in the form of a Graduate Research Assistantship paid directly by the student’s advisor but may also be provided as fellowships or teaching assistantships, depending on the student’s qualifications and available funds.
Certificate-Seeking Applicants
Eligibility
This stand-alone certificate is open to MU post-baccalaureate students and/or non-INP graduate students who are taking neuroscience courses and conducting research in neuroscience laboratories.
